Bengaluru, October 16, 2025: Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) has announced a moment of pride as Mr. Manjunatha S, a trainee under the Toyota Kaushalya (Flexi MoU Scheme), has been recognized as the National Topper in the All India Trade Test (AITT) conducted by the Directorate General of Training (DGT) under the Craftsman Training Scheme (CTS) in October 2024.
The distinction was conferred by Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi during the Kaushal Dikshant Samaroh held on October 4, 2025, in New Delhi. Mr. Manjunatha, the only candidate from Karnataka to earn this honor, exemplifies Toyota’s commitment to fostering excellence through skill development.
Speaking on the achievement, Mr. G. Shankara, Executive Vice President – Finance and Administration, Toyota Kirloskar Motor, said,

The Toyota Kaushalya Program is a two-year “Learn and Earn” initiative designed to impart practical industrial experience coupled with academic learning. Conducted at the Toyota Technical Training Institute (TTTI) within the company’s premises, the program emphasizes 60% behavioral training—including discipline, safety mindset, ethics, respect, civic sense, and sustainability—and 40% craftsmanship, reflecting the Japanese Takumi philosophy of precision and mastery.
