New Delhi: In a bold move to redefine the budget smartphone segment, Motorola has launched its first g-series device of the year — the moto g96 5G — at a disruptive starting price of just ₹17,999. The smartphone delivers flagship-level features in the under-₹20,000 category, a market segment where Motorola previously saw great success with its bestselling moto g85 5G.
The moto g96 5G stands out with a 144Hz 3D curved pOLED FHD+ display, protected by IP68 water resistance and Gorilla Glass 5 — a first for the g-series. It is also equipped with a 50MP OIS Sony LYTIA™ 700C camera powered by moto AI, capable of 4K video recording across all lenses — another category-first. Powering the device is the Snapdragon® 7s Gen 2 processor, delivering flagship-grade performance with an AnTuTu benchmark of up to 650,000.
